JOIN PAKISTAN ARMY AS MEDICAL CADET IN ARMY ADMINISTERED MEDICAL COLLEGES (RWP, LAHORE, QUETTA, KARACHI, BAHAWALPUR, MULTAN AND KHARIAN)
1. Eligibility Conditions
a. Age: 17-21 Years as on 1 Nov 2022 (relaxable for 3 months both in upper and lower age limits).
b. Gender.: Male
c. Marital Status. Unmarried
d. Nationality. Citizens of Pakistan and domicile holders of Azad Kashmir / Gilgit Baltistan. Upon final selection,
candidates with dual nationality will have to surrender nationalities other than Pakistani.
e. Physical Standards
(1) Minimum Height. 5’– 4” (162.5 cm).
(2) Weight. As per Body Mass Index.
f. Education
(1) FSc (Pre-medical) with #minimum_70% marks or “A” level passed in Biology, Physics and Chemistry with minimum grade C.
(2) Candidates having domicile of #Balochistan, #Sindh (District Tharparkar, Omar Kot), Northern Areas, Azad Kashmir (Upper Neelam Valley) and #FATA can apply with 65% marks.
(3) Candidates possessing foreign qualifications such as ‘O’ Level and ‘A’ Level etc will be required to obtain
Equivalence Certificate and conversion of marks from Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC), Ministry of
Education, Islamabad and attach it with application form.
(4) Candidates who have passed FSc Part-I Examination with minimum 70% marks and appeared/are appearing in
FSc Part-II/ Final Examination can also apply on “#HOPE_Certificates” by the Head of the institutions. Such
candidates must deposit an attested copy of FSc Part II Certificate/ Mark Sheets to PA Directorate (PA-3C) GHQ
Rawalpindi within 5 days of announcement of result; otherwise their selection will not be processed further.Candidates must send their MDCAT 2022 result card when announced to the above address as given in this paragraph.
2. Ineligibility Conditions
a. “Not Recommended” twice by ISSB/GHQ Selection Board.
b. Declared medically UNFIT by CMH/Appeal Medical Board.
c. Declared medically UNFIT due to Hepatitis B & C (Appeal Medical Board cannot be requested)
d. Enrolled cadets and recruits withdrawn/resigned/discharged/ dismissed from Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force) training academies/institutions on the grounds of discipline, character, medical, inefficiency, weak profile, own request or declared unsuitable.
e. An individual dismissed/removed from any other government service.
f. Convicted by a Court of Law for an offence involving moral turpitude.
3. Registration and Preliminary Selection Procedure
Candidates can either register through internet on website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. or by visiting Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs). @MDCAT
Following procedure will be adopted:-
a. Registration Through Internet.
shall be intimated on internet, for which the individual should have an e-mail account. Candidates will report on
exact date and time given for preliminary test on computerized roll no slip. Date once given will not be changed.
Candidates will also bring along documents mentioned in para 6 and will pay prospectus fee (RS 300/-) on the day of test.
Candidates MUST attain working knowledge of computer as registration and online test will be conducted on computers at AS&RC.
b. Registration at AS&RCs
The candidates may report at nearest AS&RCs for registration / allotment of roll no
alongwith necessary documents mentioned in para 6 and the prospectus fee for completion of registration
formalities. The Candidates will bring these documents on the day of test as well.
c. Schedule of Registration / Preliminary Tests
. Registration and Preliminary Test will be held as per the following schedule:-

Preliminary Tests will comprised of MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS (MCQs) .
This includes :-
(i) Written Test (Biology , Chemistry , Physics ,English )
(ii) Intelligence Test (Verbal intelligence Test & Non Verbal Intelligence Test )
(iii) Personality Test
#Written Academic test(50 mcqs) is from Fsc books....biology, chemistry, physics and english....with most questions from biology portion
This test is.taken online at ASRC.After passing written, you have to give
intelligence test.64 mcqs Verbal & 84 mcqs Non_verbal
.If you have failed written you will be disqualified from further giving
intelligence and personality test
d. Important Points
(1) APPEARING IN PMC MDCAT 2022 IS MANDATORY FOR ALL CANDIDATES
. Candidates who want to apply for admission as Medical Cadet (for Army only) in 
#Army_Medical_College_Rwp_CMH_Lhr_Med_College_Quetta_Institute_of_MedicalSciences_CMH_Multan_
Medical_College_Karachi__Institute__of__Medical__Sciences ,CMH Bahawalpur and Kharian must appear in
fresh PMC MDCAT 2022 . Candidates should score more than 70-80 % at least in MDCAT 2022 so that it may prove fruitful in final selection.

(2) Candidate must mention the name of College for which applying (Army Medical College Rawalpindi or CMH Lahore Medical College etc) at the top of application form (page 1). Candidate can also opt for Colleges priority wise.

(4) A candidate selected at merit for one institution shall not be changed.
(5) Candidate selected for MBBS in any of said medical colleges if not appeared/ registered in their respective regional exams shall stand ineligible.
(06) Written/Intelligence/Personality Test . Written test will be based on multiple choice questions from English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
The candidate declared successful in written test will undergo physical/medical tests at AS&RCs.
4. PHYSICAL TEST
#Physical_Test. The candidates must qualify the following physical tests:-(1) 1.6 Km run 9 Minutes.
(2) Push Ups 15 repetition in 2 Minutes.
(3) Sit Ups 15 repetition in 2 Minutes.
(4) Chin Ups 3 repetition in 2 Minutes.
(5) Ditch Crossing 7’. 4” x 7’. 4” with a depth of 4 feet.
5. Preliminary Medical Test
Initial medical test will be conducted at Army Selection & Recruitment Centres.
6. Further Selection
After
Passing physical you will have initial medical checkup
After that you will be given forms like Issb ...which you have to fill and submit on ASRC on date specified by them
These forms are sent to GHQ then they shortlist nearly 250-300 candidate for interview and personality test.....this shortlisting is based on your Fsc matric and initial test performance...shortlisted candidate are sent Letter at their address.
Shortlisted candidates will receive notice for intelligence/personality test and interviews by the GHQ Selection Board
at Army Medical College, Rawalpindi through website as well as call up letter.

Test takes place in 2days
On the first day you will have a personality test
Personality test comprises ofSentence completion
Word sentence
Story writing/picture story writing
Your good and bad qualities
Horrible /sad/happy/unforgettable incident of your life
Then biodata form filling
On the next day
You will have an interview.....
When all the candidate on that day have given interview then result is announced within an
hour ....those that are passed or recommended are given final medical letter
Final medical test takes place at military hospitals..you can choose your nearby cmh or mh hospitals.
Final selection is based upon your overall performance your Fsc matric and entry test
Medical examination of recommended candidates will be carried out at nearby CMHs. Final selection will be made at GHQ on the basis of
candidate’s overall performance.
7. Academics/Military Training
a. Academics Discipline Duration
MBBS Course 5 years study at Army Medical Colleges Rawalpindi Lahore, Quetta, Karachi & Multan.
BDS Course 4 years study at Army Medical College Rawalpindi
b. Military Training. 22 x Weeks Basic Military Training (BMT) at PMA Kakul, after completion of final professional examination.
8. Documents Required at AS&RCs.
a. 1 x attested photocopy of Matric certificate. In case of ‘O’ Level/’A’ Level, submission of equivalence certificate issued by IBCC is mandatory.
b. 1 x attested photocopies of Computerized National Identity Card or Form ‘B’ issued by NADRA.
c. 1 x attested photocopies of FSc Part-I (Pre-Medical) details marks certificate and “Hope” certificate from Principal of college that the candidate will get minimum 70% marks in FSc Part-II Examination.
d. Attested passport size photographs must be pasted on Appl form.
e. Candidates who have already cleared FSc Part-II (Pre-Medical) will produce 1x attested photocopies of Detail Marks Sheets (DMC).
f. Candidates will deposit crossed postal orders of Rs 100.00 in favour of Director General Personnel Administration (DGPA), GHQ Rawalpindi. Pay Order/Bank Draft will not be accepted.

7. Bond. Finally selected candidates will be required to sign a bond to serve the Army for a minimum period of 13 years. The applicability of bond will commence on completion of MBBS Degree Course at respective Medical College.
